The Proposal

Mark proposed to me on Christmas day 2000. He was very romantic and disguised his proposal in an elaborately wrapped present.

The Stag/Hen Do

We had a joint Stag/Hen night a couple of weeks before the big day (which gave us time to recover!) on 11th May. It was held in Bath and involved a game of Quasar, eating out at Old Orleans and then drinking. My chief Bridesmaid, Melissa, organised the whole thing and we all had a fantastic time.

The Wedding Day

Mark and I were married on the 25th May 2002 at 13:00. The wedding ceremony took place at St John's Parish Church, Keynsham, Bristol. The reception venue was Chewton Place, Keynsham, Bristol.

The bridesmaids were Sarah Dodson and Carole Hubbard (Mark's sisters) and Melissa Hall (my friend). They wore dresses in lilac satin with a bodice and full skirt.

The Reception

After the wedding ceremony, guests drove to the reception venue of Chewton Place, which was not far from the church. The bride and groom arrived first in the Legonda and were greeted with glasses of champagne. Guests soon started to arrive and received glasses of bucks fizz or orange juice. The official photos were take in and around Chewton Place, although time was limited as short showers occurred throughout the day.
